Our Story
Every great institution has a humble beginning. Ours started in 1965 with three brothers, a small van, fresh flowers and eggs — and an unshakeable belief that Singapore deserved the finest botanical selection available.
From those modest origins, Far East Flora has grown across six decades into Singapore's most trusted and comprehensive floriculture group — a transformation from three varieties to over 1,500, from a van to an 11-storey flagship destination, and from a local trader to a wholesale and retail institution that serves Singapore's florists, businesses and flower lovers every single day.
In 1976, Far East Orchid Pte Ltd was established as the dedicated wholesale division — becoming Singapore's leading fresh-cut flower wholesale centre and the supplier of choice for the island's professional floristry trade. For decades, Singapore's most trusted florists, event companies and hospitality groups built their businesses on the reliability, range and pricing that Far East Orchid provided.
In 2020, Far East Orchid rebranded as Far East Flora Market — a new name that reflected both the breadth of what we had become and the direction we were heading. The wholesale heritage remained unchanged. The catalogue expanded. And the commitment to supplying Singapore with the finest flowers at the fairest prices — the founding promise of 1965 — remained as true as ever.

Far East Flora Centre
The physical home of Far East Flora Market is Far East Flora Centre — Singapore's first vertical floriculture destination and one of the most remarkable retail experiences the island has to offer. Rising eleven storeys above Clementi Road, the Centre houses Singapore's largest wholesale coldroom on Level 2, where over 1,500 varieties of fresh cut flowers are stored at optimal conditions and made available daily to trade and retail buyers alike.
But Far East Flora Centre is more than a flower market. Each floor offers its own distinct experience — from the wholesale coldroom and lifestyle retail zone on Level 2, to the Garden Oasis and floristry workshop studio on Level 3, the retail showrooms spanning Levels 4 to 8, and the open-air Rooftop Sky Garden above it all. An in-house garden café, F'east, invites visitors to slow down, dine among the greenery and let the natural environment do what it does best.
Sustainability is built into the Centre's DNA — from rainwater harvesting and solar panels to energy-efficient lighting and an 80% sheltered layout designed for Singapore's climate.
