A two-day hands-on masterclass for working florists, designed to sharpen your design thinking and push your creative practice forward. Led by German master florist Samantha Wilhelm — with 24 years of floristry experience, 12 years as a master florist, and international workshops across Europe, South Korea, and Singapore.

What You'll Learn:

Over two days, you'll explore how global trends translate into floral design — and how to interpret them authentically through your own creative voice.

Day 1 — Wednesday 8 July Understand what trends are, how they emerge, and how to read them across Micro, Maxi, and Mega levels. Samantha will walk through the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 trend directions — covering colour, material, and identity — before the group creates a floral design inspired by a chosen trend.

Day 2 — Thursday 9 July Dive into Spring/Summer 2027 trend forecasting across three directions: Soft Futurism, Playful Vintage Mix, and Refined Nature. The day culminates in creating a collective Masterpiece — a showcase-worthy floral work that will be exhibited during The Flower Show public days (11–12 July).

How many participants will be in the class?

The masterclass is kept intentionally small to ensure a high-quality, hands-on experience for every participant. Spaces are limited — we recommend registering early to avoid disappointment.
What should I bring on the day?

All floral materials and tools will be provided. Just bring yourself, your creativity, and a willingness to explore. Any additional requirements will be communicated to registered participants closer to the date.

What happens to my floral piece after the class?

Your completed Masterpiece will be exhibited as part of the Masterpieces by Sam showcase during The Flower Show public days on 11 & 12 July at Far East Flora Centre. After the event, your piece is yours to take home.
Will there be photography at the event?

The masterclass and The Flower Show will be photographed and filmed for marketing and promotional purposes across Far East Flora Market's digital channels. By attending, you consent to being included in event photography and videography. If you have any concerns, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
